Profile Overview

Hello! I'm Arthur - the brain and heart behind 3dgtx.

I’ve been working as a 3D/2D designer for over 20 years. Back in the day, I started with the very first versions of 3D Studio MAX - long before it became Autodesk 3ds Max - originally developed under the Discreet brand.

Over the years, I’ve experimented with tools like Maya, XSI, and Houdini, among others. Still, I chose to specialize in 3ds Max as my primary environment - not just out of habit, but because it perfectly fits the way I think, create, and organize my production workflows.

Thanks to my state-recognized vocational qualification as a CAD draftsman, I also gained practical experience with 3D CAD tools such as AutoCAD and CATIA. Later, after earning my state-certified diploma in Game Design, I expanded into areas like HID design, GUI/HUD design, game design and gane concepts, and level & map design.

I’ve applied my skills in projects for companies like Polysim - Swiss Simulation, EA Sports, and Airbus, as well as multimedia studios.

In recent years, my work has evolved toward a very specific niche - one that I consider both technically challenging and creatively rewarding:

I’ve become a specialist, and in many ways a pioneer, in creating customizable 3D assets and adapting them precisely to a client’s brand or product identity.

This is not the same as modding.

Modding usually means modifying pre-existing content - often for entertainment or experimentation.

Customizing, however, starts from scratch: it involves designing assets that are inherently adaptable, with built-in flexibility for precise, brand-compliant variations. It’s a different discipline altogether - one that demands technical precision, artistic restraint, and a deep understanding of visual consistency and brand identity.
