Mesh
Clean and flawless triangle-polygon based lowpoly mesh with complete and closed elements, no one-sided objects, flipped normals, multipolys or edge poles, carefully, manually pre-triangulated by hand. Suitable as high quality background object. Real world scale meters, lenght appr. 199 meters.
UVW
Main asset parts are non-overlapping unwrapped. Layouts: hull, bridge, cranes, containers. All parts were mapped with high texel density.
Triangle & Vertex Count
Triangle count: 43920 with containers, 33672 without containers. Vertex count: 28591 with containers, 21759 without containers.
Day & Night Cycle Ready PBR Textures
Metallic roughness PBR workflow and a mix possible thanks to the 33 PBR-ready textures included, many of which are optional and can be used for unconventional shader setups. 2 x AO versions for all ship parts included with and without baked in containers, and emissive maps, allowing for use in day and night cycles. Native texture resolutions for all mesh parts were made in 4096 x 4096.
Containers
As heavy lift cargo ship it can carry virtually any load, not only containers. Container topo: Ultra low poly, 12 tris per container. Container livery: Interchangeable livery with other container liveries by 3dgtx. Container sets: included is 1 x native set with 7 x containers and 1 x set with hundreds of stacked containers.
Files Included
Asset was made in native 3ds Max 2022. Native file was resaved also in a 2019 version. The downloadable attachment includes 1 x .fbx files, 1 x .obj-mtl file, 2 x .max files, 1 x .glb file, 1 x .gltf file, 1 x .usdz file, and 33 x 8 Bit .png files.
Final Note
Asset´s pivot is placed on water level. To represent a typical "high quality background object" everything about water level was prioritized, while everything below it, like a propeller or anchor, must be added if needed.
